THROWING SMOKE: Winning Life's Ultimate Victory - Week 1

There is just something about watching a dominant athlete at work. Most of us can’t imagine how it must feel to dunk a basketball, to score the game winning touchdown, or throw a 100 mph fastball past a hitter. That feeling of knowing that the opposition has no answer for you, no way to stop you, it has to be pretty incredible. Right after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension, God begins to do a work in a small group of Jesus’ followers, a group of misfits and outcasts with no hope of finding victory on their own. God turns this group of followers into an unstoppable force that literally changed the course of human history. How did He do that? What do we need to do to allow the Lord to use us in the same way?
